VA “Steph”
Hello Steph! Tell us a little about yourself first.
Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am from Batangas. I am 30 years old and married with a son. I prefer to spend my time indoors and binge-watch shows on Netflix. I consider myself an introvert, but when I am among individuals I feel comfortable with, I can be fairly loud and myself around them. I enjoy traveling with my family when the occasion arises. Working from home has allowed me to devote more time to my family. Our previous vacation was in Boracay last month, however due to the humid weather, we spent most of our time eating and relaxing. These are the times when my family bonds together especially during occasions or holidays. We make memories when we travel.
What was your profession before you became a VA?
My first job was in the BPO industry, where I worked for four years, largely in billing, back office, and customer support. I wanted to broaden my views and find a different work environment, so I decided to travel to Dubai and work for about a year. I completed my undergraduate degree in human resource management and attempted to gain further experience from my graduated profession. I was working at the Emirates lounge at the airport in Dubai. I learned a lot, particularly about diverse ways of living and different cultures. It was an intriguing experience. But I became homesick and returned home after a year away. The pandemic arrived in 2020, and I was looking for a new job. This is when I started to work from home as a virtual assistant. I began working with other organizations before discovering IVA PRO through Sir Lowie's referral. I am grateful since everyone was so polite and accommodating.
How is your IVA PRO Experience?
Working for IVA PRO, I found the process to be really straightforward. The management and clients are direct, and the atmosphere is light and welcoming. They want you to perform an excellent job and deliver. That converts to a positive experience, especially if they know you are qualified for the position and are doing an excellent job. Even Miss Rih and Miss Kats were extremely accommodating and helpful; I never once had an problem. I can say this because I have had negative experiences with previous VA organizations, such as late salaries. In the BPO sector, your tasks are micromanaged, but in the VA industry, you work alone; however, having a solid team can cover all of the bases needed for success. Also, knowing to always do the right thing even when no one is looking is a great attitude to have since this is your job, they trust you to do it, and I trust IVA to take care of us.

Working at IVA PRO was the best decision I'd ever made. I am grateful to IVA for the opportunity to work with great people.
